O_o packed yet empty o_O
ever encountered a packed, yet empty day? the whole day was full of events, the schedule was full, yet at end of the day, u feel as if u had done nuthin at all.. funny ain't it
i had these kinda days many a time recently, of which the most recent is last sat, i met up with V to attend a wake of our mutual fren's relative (correct?). went to fetch V from her workplace, but due to unforeseen circumstances, i waited 2hrs+ and almost leave for the wake w/o her.
our consolation skills suck, but luckily our fren is a strong-willed person, lets just wish him well and all the best.
so after the wake stuff, V and me walked a short distance b4 we parted ways as she headed for home while im going to Expo for the Comex as well as the concert later on. funny thing was, she initially voiced out that she's interested in going to Comex, so i invited her to join me but guess im nt the company she wanted to go with bah.
aniwae, met up with J at Expo, and very apologetic to her coz she waited quite some time fer me.. we "window-shopped" the place fer awhile b4 we headed for the main objective of the day: Wubai Concert!! (feat. Zhang Zhen Yue and MC HotDog) ^O^
while crossing the road towards the concert hall, i noticed a person's back which looked so familiar and as i looked on, i realised its C! (someone whom occupied 2yrs+ of my life and which i used the same amt of time to get over). she was carrying her baby ger, with her husband and sis walking beside. She looked blissful, and im truly glad for her.. :)
The concert was good, except for the 2 aunties sitting in front of us keep chatting away loudly as if they were in a market, and another 1 sitting beside me with hands crossed all the way and legs crossing and uncrossing every now and thn, like Sharon Stone *puke*.. i wonder how they got their tickets *stares sternly @ the sponsors*
in the end, i left my seat and proceed to join the rest of the standing crowds in front ^ ^
checked my phone after the concert only to find out R called me during the concert, so i called back and we had a small chat. i always find it comfortable to talk to her, no matter how long we had not contacted each other. like old frens or sorts.
if only everyone can talk in this way, knowing all jokes are harmless, all queries are act of concern, and none of the comments never meant bad nor sarcastic. the world will be a much friendlier place ;)
initially planned fer a drink after the concert, but J didn't wan to as she'e riding. so i head for my home.
few hrs later, met up with my good fren G @ my neighbourhood as she's in a bad mood due to bgr..
and so, my whole day ended at around 4+ in the morning, but as i lie down in my room and try to think back, its like i'd done nuthin the whole day at all.. maybe if i think even further back, perhaps i might have done nuthin in my life as well.. o_O
[if one had moved on, why does the other still stayed?]
